Wag case a lift in hard times
I COULDN’T agree more with Fiona Looney’s take on the Wagatha Christie trial.
As she put it ‘we have enough fear and loathing and war and tragedy and hardship’ and this ‘storm in a teacup’ is the perfect antidote.
I, and most people I know, am relishing it every day. The fact that both Rebekah Vardy and Coleen Rooney are wealthy and comfortable gives me a sense that the stakes, at least the financial ones, are not that high.
And bravo to Jane Fryer and her wonderful, acerbic take on the proceedings in the British High Court.
It has become the highlight of my day. What will I do next week when it is all over?
