SMASH hit psychological thriller starring Michael Douglas as a happily married lawyer who has what he thinks is a one-night stand. However, Alex (Glenn Close) has different ideas about their fling. Glenn Close, pictured, was nominated for an Oscar for Best Actress for her spine-chilling performance, although Close herself objected to the film’s violent ending.
