Boy bowled over by PM
THE days of politicians kissing babies on the campaign trail are long gone. Just this week, the Australian prime minister, Scott Morrison, right, was taking part in junior soccer training in Tasmania when, having spotted an opportunity to steal the ball away from a young player, his move was intercepted, leading him to tumble into the unsuspecting small child. His flattening faux pas was compared to Boris Johnson’s similar taking out of a boy during touch rugby in Japan in 2015. As a rule, knocking over small children is not going to curry much favour with the public, lads.
