A blind spot regarding festival chic

I’VE HEARD of some bizarre beauty trends in my time (I may even have tried them). However, I’ll be giving a wide berth to the latest festival must-have. Apparently glittery freckles – painting your pigmentation – is the latest complexion trend, according to a chirpy press release received this week. Thanks to my copious bespeckling, I wouldn’t be so much highlighting as painting my entire face silver, so I think I’ll pass. Let’s leave festival chic to the likes of Maura Higgins, pictured right at Coachella earlier this month. It’s just too much like work.
