Emma brings her quietly confident set to Workman’s


I was lucky enough to spend part of lockdown being entertaine­d by some beautiful music by Emma Hynes thanks to Facebook Live. Now there is the chance to see Emma head a line up of four brilliant acts at the Workman’s Club in Dublin on Thursday as she celebrates the release of her new single, The Space Between. The single is the last in a trilogy produced by Martin Quinn at Jam Studios, the follow- up to Don’t Forget and Sometimes. Emma’s songs have a very delicate beauty that she expertly expresses in the live arena. On Thursday she will be supported by very special guests including psychedeli­c dreampop artist Keeley; Ray Gilligan, from Dublin powerpop band StereoType; and, Brew, of garage rock stalwarts Blue Sun.
