Cancel culture gone mad

THE world may have been in mourning over Queen Elizabeth, right, but some of the reactions have been a little strange. The Met Office in Britain confused everyone by seeming to suggest it would not offer weather forecasts beyond 24 hours. Plus the postponement of football matches, a widely expected rise in interest rates put on hold (no bad thing), and what about the cancelling of Guinea Pig Awareness Week? She deserves an outpouring of grief, but I’m not sure whether this stoic monarch would have approved of certain measures.
