The old rivals began their campaigns with contrastin­g victories, with Kerry scoring a big win over Tipperary. Cork were pushed all the way by Waterford before emerging with a victory. Shane Ronayne has made three changes as Cork continue their bid for a third title in a row. Kerry have made just one change, Ciara Butler taking over from Mary Ellen Bolger in goal.

Tipperary v Waterford Bansha

Waterford’s second-half rally against Cork came up short when they went down by 110 to 0-11. They have made two changes, with Aoife Morrissey coming in for Lucie O’Shea, while Bríd McMaugh replaces Annie Fitzgerald. Tipperary, too, will hope that their attack can fire much better. They are unchanged for this encounter.

MUNSTER SENIOR B Kerry v Limerick

Fr Casey’s GAA, Abbeyfeale, 1pm Kerry lost heavily to Cork last weekend and will be desperate to bounce back against Limerick

Dublin travel to Laois with three points in the bag after last weekend’s defeat of the Lilywhites. Laois are on the hunt for points after defeat by Meath. Dublin have handed debuts to five players.

Meath v Kildare Páirc Tailteann

Kildare’s 23-match winning streak was finally ended last weekend by Dublin . Meath had contrastin­g luck however last weekend as they saw off the challenge of Laois.
