Midwives to stage action

MIDWIFES have announced they will carry out a work to rule tomorrow in protest over staff shortages.

Members of the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation at Mayo University Hospital, Castlebar will take action.

They will withdraw from clerical and support duties to focus on direct midwifery care.
