Patience pays off for rock fans

ROCK fans got an early Christmas present yesterday as it was announced Guns N’ Roses will play Slane Castle in May.

It was confirmed the Sweet Child O’ Mine legends will play the legendary Meath venue again after gracing the stage 25 years ago.

Slane is one of the greatest rock venues on the planet and this latest gig is sure to be one to go down in history.

It’s been a tough couple of years for Lord Henry Mountcharles and it’s brilliant to have him – and Slane – back with a bang.

Let’s hope Axl Rose and the gang can put on a performance to match their 1992 gig.
