‘Shop green at Christmas’

MORE than 90% of Irish people think retailers should recycle properly, a survey has found.

But the Repak research said just over 50% of the public are unaware business owners legally have to do so.

The firm is encouraging people to shop with one of their members for Christmas and beyond.

Boss Seamus Clancy said: “We’re asking people to shop better and pay special attention to their recycling habits.”
