Heil do! Hitler’s wedding pic with brother-in-law ...he later had executed

NO wonder the SS groom in this remarkable picture looks a little queasy...his guest of honour is Adolf Hitler.

The previously unseen image, taken just before D-day, shows the Nazi dictator congratulating newlywed officer Hermann Fegelein and his bride Gretl Braun, the younger sister of Hitler’s mistress Eva Braun. As new brother-in-law of Eva, Fegelein enjoyed every privilege.

But 11 months later, as Germany faced total defeat, he abandoned his post. Despite Eva’s pleadings, Hitler had him shot.

The picture was among 12 photos of the jolly three-day reception in Salzburg, Austria. The photos sold at Marlows auctioneers of Stafford for €473.
