Dogs won’t be smelling ruff this year

DOG deodorant features in the top 10 best-selling Christmas presents for pets, it has been revealed.

The list was compiled by pet store chain Maxi Zoo, which said Irish people were looking to pamper their nearest and dearest this festive season.

It was topped by a Santa dog coat, followed by a snuggle pad, brain training toys, deodorant, a Christmas cat cave, dog shampoo and more.

Maxi Zoo executive director Alice Cross said: “Irish pet parents are really spoiling their pets this Christmas and want them to smell good, to look good and to keep their minds active during the festive season.”
