WHO THEY WANT: Looking at Real Sociedad’s Inigo Martinez, with West Brom’s Jonny Evans another option.

NEWCASTLE

WHAT THEY NEED: Creative spark. A top quality, lineleadin­g, goalscorin­g striker. A No.10. Power, pace, athleticis­m.

WHO THEY WANT: Chelsea winger Kenedy on loan. Islam Slimani from Leicester. Danny Ings from Liverpool. Luke Shaw on loan from Manchester United.

STOKE CITY

WHAT THEY NEED: A goalscorer and possibly a defender to stiffen their fragile backline.

WHO THEY WANT: Daniel Sturridge or Danny Ings from Liverpool. The Reds want £25m for Sturridge and Ings may therefore be a more realistic propositio­n.

TOTTENHAM

WHAT THEY NEED: More reinforcem­ents in the final third. Christian Eriksen needs competitio­n. Harry Kane needs support.

WHO THEY WANT: Hope to win battle for Ross Barkley. Crystal Palace’s Wilfried Zaha is on their wish list. Ryan Sessegnon of Fulham is a long-time target.

WEST BROM

WHAT THEY NEED: A prolific striker to boost their survival prospects. Boss Alan Pardew wants cover for Nacer Chadli with both he and James Morrison injured.

WHO THEY WANT: Pardew is an admirer of Danny Ings at Liverpool and is interested in Stoke right-back Glen Johnson.

WHAT THEY NEED: A goalscorer to ease the burden on Romelu Lukaku. Jose Mourinho also wants a left-back, central midfielder, wide player and a No.10.

WHO THEY WANT: Tottenham’s Danny

Rose and Arsenal’s Mesut Ozil. Linked with Bordeaux’s Malcom.

SOUTHAMPTO­N

WHAT THEY NEED: Need to improve attack and have centreback vacancy after Virgil van Dijk’s sale.

WHO THEY WANT:

Two from Theo Walcott (Arsenal), Daniel Sturridge (Liverpool) or Moussa Dembele (Celtic) would revive front line. Swansea’s Alfie Mawson could replace Van Dijk.

SWANSEA

WHAT THEY NEED: A striker to replace Fernando Llorente. A new centreback as they also face interest in Alfie Mawson.

WHO THEY WANT: They must wheel and deal in the market to raise funds. Barnsley right-back Andy

Yiadom, out of contract this summer, is a target.

WATFORD

WHAT THEY NEED: At least one centre-back and a striker who can score more than Troy Deeney and Andre Gray (just two goals each this season).

WHO THEY WANT: Frontrunne­rs to sign Leicester’s Islam Slimani on loan, looking at Southampto­n left-back Matt Targett.

WEST HAM

WHAT THEY NEED: More legs in midfield. Badly. Also, more quality in defence.

WHO THEY WANT: Stoke midfielder Joe Allen, Sporting’s William Carvalho and Bournemout­h’s Harry Arter. Also keen on defenders Alfie Mawson (Swansea) and Lamine Kone (Sunderland).
