Hazard: I’ll wait on the new Blues

- BY DARREN LEWIS

EDEN HAZARD has piled the pressure on Chelsea by warning his future depends on the quality of their summer signings.

The Belgium winger has two years left on his current deal, but

the Blues want him to sign new £300,000-a-week terms, with Real Madrid circling.

But Hazard said: “I’m waiting for new players next season. We’ll see. I want good players, because

I want to win the Premier League. There’s a lot to think about, and then we will see. That’s why I’m taking my time. It’s something big.”

Hazard, 27, spoke of his desperation to win Saturday’s FA Cup after lifting two Premier League titles, the League Cup and the Europa League with the Blues. Chelsea face Manchester United at Wembley and he said: “I need two more trophies – the Champions League and FA Cup.

“To play Champions League is important, but winning other trophies also. Trophies are important – FA Cup, League Cup, Premier League, Champions League. And the FA Cup is more important for me because I’ve never won it. That’s why I want to win.” Chelsea are set to part company with boss Antonio Conte after a poor campaign in which they failed to make the top four.

The Blues are also set to revamp their squad, but Hazard – who is a target for Champions League finalists Real (boss Zinedine Zidane, left) – insisted his future is not linked to that of the club’s current manager.

He added: “We don’t think about that, we’re just focusing on the game now.

“We have one game to play and then we will see what happens at the end of the season, or for the new season.”
