Teen suffers head injury in assault

A TEEN was rushed to hospital with injuries to his head after a serious assault.

The incident happened in the early hours of yesterday, when the 17-year-old boy was involved in a row in Lucan, West Dublin.

It is understood the youth sustained the injuries during the incident, which took place outside a house at Rowlagh Gardens.

Gardai are investigating and have appealed for witnesses or anyone with information to contact them at Lucan station on 01 666 7300.

No arrests have yet been made and enquiries are ongoing.
