Tonight we kick things off in true heatwave style in 39/40 Arran Quay where Operator x Stoop come together to bring you Tresor’s Manni Dee and Jamie Behan’s Flexure project.

Based in London, Manni Dee is held in high esteem by many for his spotless production. Knowing his sounds inside out, his studio time and expertise is sought after by his peers

Behan’s Flexure project was born out of a mutual passion for rough, pure and incisive techno and is a collaboration with Stephen Mahoney.

Their productions incorporate influences from Techno, Acid, Electro, and Chicago House, different forms of music which have shaped their vision of techno.

These influences can be heard on their debut EP Shadow Puppets, forthcoming on Behan’s Bastardo Electrico label, with four tracks of slamming, dark, mechanical, sometimes abstract yet strangely funky techno, with Detroit techno sitting next to dark industrial and UK loops mixed with the jack of Chicago, which have garnered support from the likes of Dave Clarke, Ben Sims, Truss, Sunil Sharpe, and John Heckle to name a few.

Others in tonight’s line-up include, Deliquent Delivery, Theologue and Luke Lynch back to back with stoop’s Jack Jennings. Doors are at 10.30pm and admission is €15.

Tomorrow night Dublin original dance music pioneer Pat Hyland brings his Northside Loft Society back to Yamamouri Tengu (Strand Street D1).

This time with special guest Derek Carr in the surroundings of the Kaizen Bar.

Born and raised in Mullingar, Carr has been producing and releasing Detroit-tinged electronic music for almost two decades. He has released music on labels such as For those that Knoe, Subwax BCN and Firescope. With influences such as Kraftwerk and Depeche Mode during his formative years, Derek was drawn to this new sound coming from Detroit, Sheffield and Leeds in the 90s and soon launched his own label Trident Recordings releasing the Copper Beech EP.

Now a collector’s item with only 500 pressings in existence. Combining soul and melody with electronic dance-floor grooves Carr had made waves outside Ireland and released album Contact last month on Subwax Excursions encompassing Techno, House and Electro.

Catch him alongside Pat Hyland and Charlie Murnane tomorrow – admission is €7 and doors are 22.00. Tomorrowat Pyg, Division and

Subject bring you Ostgut Ton’s Ryan Elliott. Detroit native, adopted Berliner – Elliott’s crossgenre vibes are accompanied by Sexshop and Galactic Beat Club with Vlad Miller in the bar, admission €10.
