Paramedic’s bus assault
A FIRE Brigade paramedic was assaulted yesterday morning while responding to a call to help a man.
The incident happened on a bus on Abbey Street in Dublin city centre at 7.40am.
As officers tended to a man he became aggressive, assaulting the paramedic, leaving them unconscious and with two front teeth knocked out.
Dublin Fire Brigade said: “We can confirm one of our firefighters/paramedics was assaulted in the city centre and an individual has been arrested.”
