BROS star Matt Goss claims he cured a man of cancer with healing powers inherited from his grandad.

The singer told how he saw the man in a restaurant in the US and “had this overwhelming feeling he was in pain”.

Matt, 49, said: “He recognised me and I said, ‘Are you OK?’. His face went pale and he said, ‘I’m in terrible pain, I’ve got cancer’. I said, ‘Do you mind if I give you some healing?’

“I gave him healing by laying my hands on him.”

The man later contacted Matt’s assistant to say Matt ‘laid on hands’ he felt better, so the 1980s chart topper did it again.

He said: “I gave him some more healing and I laid my hands on him and he said, ‘Feel my back, I’ve got lumps everywhere’. I said ‘I don’t feel that. Would you just go and get re-diagnosed?’ “He did, and I got this joyous message and he said, ‘I don’t have cancer’. I’m not very religious but I have a beautiful deep-rooted faith in myself and I believe that my healing qualities were passed on to me by my grandad.”

Single Matt – who turns 50 next month along with twin and Bros co-star Luke – also revealed he would consider marrying a fan.

He said: “I’ve always been very blessed when it comes to meeting ladies. Churchill Hyatt Regency, Central London When I’m walking down the street, I literally get hugged, I get such blatant propositions and I am tempted.

“I don’t know who I’ll end up marrying. If I met a fan that I loved then I would. My fans have never looked more attractive – I could never rule it out.” Matt, who performs regularly in Las Vegas, returns to the UK to perform at BBC Proms In The Park concert next Saturday at 5pm, presented by Michael Ball live on BBC Radio 2. Highlights will be shown during the interval of the Last Night of the Proms on BBC2.
