I’M SO FANCY TAKES MY FANCY TO WIN

- BY ROBERT HYNES

I FANCY I’m So Fancy can get back to winning ways in the Snow Fairy Fillies Stakes at the Curragh this afternoon.

Dropping back in class, Jessica Harrington’s runner looks the pick of the bunch in what is a very competitive Group 3 contest.

The four-year-old has scored over the course twice already this season and was fifth in a Group 1 at Deauville last time out.

There are three English raiders in the contest and two of them – Desert Diamond and Snowy Winter – won last time.

The other, Adorable, runs for Mick Channon, who had 10/1 shot Dan’s Dream finish second in a Group 3 at Tipperary on Thursday. Ten Sovereigns absolutely romped to victory over course and distance on debut and is among the market leaders for next year’s 2000 Guineas.

Another good performance in the John Sisk & Son Round Tower Stakes could see his odds cut further. I expect him to win and win easily with Donnacha O’brien riding for his father Aidan.

Meanwhile, Veracious looks a very short price in the Atalanta Stakes at Sandown.

Her form is very good, having finished third behind Alpha Centauri and Wild Illusion this season, but at odds-on I’d be inclined to go with something else each-way.

And Laugh Aloud looks a decent bet to finish in the first two for trainer John Gosden.

Too Darn Hot should prove too darn hot for his opposition in the Solario Stakes for Frankie Dettori and John Gosden.

Red Force One has enjoyed a great summer, winning his last three starts. Those successes all came in Class 4 contests and this is a Class 2, so Tom Dascombe’s runner will have to improve.
