CITY BELIEVE PALACE KID IS WAN TO WATCH

- BY ADRIAN KAJUMBA THE ORIGINAL GOSSIP COLUMN

MANCHESTER CITY are keeping tabs on Aaron Wan-bissaka.

The champions have identified the Crystal

Palace starlet (right) as a future right-back at the Etihad.

Wan-bissaka, 20, born just down the road from Selhurst Park in Croydon, is one of this year’s Premier League breakout stars.

Eagles boss Roy

Hodgson gave him his debut against Tottenham in February, going on to make 20 appearances.

His eye-catching displays are impressing City, who have made discreet enquiries about the England Under-21 defender.

City’s need for a new right-back is not immediate with seasoned internationals Kyle Walker, 28, and Danilo, 27, in their squad.

But interest in the south Londoner from rivals Everton may force their hand.

Wan-bissaka is currently tied to Palace until 2022 after being rewarded for his rapid rise with an improved four-year deal in April.
