Searches and 13 arrests in crime probe
District Court GARDAI have arrested 13 people during a “Day of Action” probing serious crimes.
The operation in south inner city Dublin was co-ordinated by officers attached to Pearse Street station.
During the probe, which involved 30 gardai, 12 premises were searched on Wednesday morning.
The arrests were in relation to investigations into a range of serious incidents.
These included robbery, theft, assault, public order and drugs-related matters.
Of those held, three were detained for questioning.
A further 10 were arrested for the purpose of charge and have since appeared before Dublin District Court.
