6k new jobs in engineering

ENGINEERS Ireland has revealed more than 6,000 jobs will be created next year.

The findings also show 89% of the companies surveyed believe their financial position will improve in 2019.

Spokeswoman Caroline Spillane said: “Organisations and companies have prospered but they see the biggest barrier to growth, once again, to be a shortage of engineers with the right skills.”
