Pupils soak up success & save water

STUDENTS saved 389 million litres of water last year, it was revealed yesterday.

The Green-schools theme encourages primary and secondary school students to develop their awareness around conservation in schools and homes.

Irish Water’s Kate Gannon said: “We are delighted to continue our sponsorship of the Greenschools water award.

“This year’s ‘conserve water’ theme is an extremely important message following our summer campaign urging people to conserve water.”
