MILLIONS of Americans were under threat last night as six fast-moving killer fires ripped through California.
At least five people have died in the “destroyed” town of Paradise and more than 150,000 people have had to flee.
At its height, one of the blazes was “growing uncontrollably” at a rate of 80 football pitches a minute.

Murphy has been linked to the disappearance of several young women in Ireland.
He is a suspect in the case of missing women Annie Mccarrick, 26, and Jo Jo Dullard, 21, as well as Deirdre.
He was freed from jail in 2010 after serving 10 years for a brutal sex attack and attempted murder of a woman in the Wicklow mountains.
