FROM FAN TO FRYING PAN

Now the winger has swapped a pint for a pair of boots to take on Wallabies star Israel Folau. Worcester ace Adams, 23, makes only his fifth Test appearance to complete a whirlwind 12 months.

“I was at the stadium last year supporting Steffan Evans who is a good school friend of mine,” Adams said. “I thought then to myself, ‘I’m miles away from all this’.

“Five months later I was playing in the Six Nations and now I’m playing against Australia. Folau is top quality, I know his threats. He’s proven at international level how good he is time and again.”
