Hamas action fails to net UN

A Us-sponsored resolution condemning militant group Hamas for firing rockets into Israel has failed to pass at the UN.

It won a majority but did not reach the required two-thirds backing.

A Hamas spokesman said this was a “slap” to Trump’s administration.
