Pieta’s appeal to donate €1k

PIETA House has launched a fundraiser aimed at firms to help boost counselling for vulnerable individuals.

The initiative is asking them to donate €1,000 this Valentine’s Day.

By sponsoring A Life A Day, firms will fund a full counselling programme for one person suffering from feelings of hopelessness or despair.

Pieta chief Kieran Brady said: “We’re calling on corporates, businesses and SMES to be proactive and protect the wellbeing of their employees by supporting the fight against suicide.”
