Service to be held for tragic US crash man
Mark Sands A CELEBRATION of life ceremony will be held to remember a tragic Irishman who died in a road crash in the US.
Mark Sands, from Blackrock, Co Louth, passed away in hospital after he was hit by a car while riding an electric scooter in Austin, Texas, on February 1.
The UCD computer science student was on a college exchange trip at the time.
The 21-year-old’s family will hold a wake for the popular young man at their home today from 3pm until 8pm.
A Liturgical Celebration of Mark’s life will take place tomorrow in St Oliver Plunkett Church, Blackrock, at 11am, followed by a private cremation.
