Appeal after €90k airport drug seizure
Shannon Airport A HUGE haul of cannabis worth an estimated €90,000 was seized at Shannon Airport.
Revenue officers discovered the 4.5kg in a parcel labelled “clothing” last Friday.
The package containing the illicit substance originated in Spain and was destined for an address in Co Carlow.
A spokeswoman for the Revenue confirmed investigations were ongoing to hunt down the source of the drugs.
