Married to mr nice guy – but i feel so lonely

I feel lonely in my marriage. I married my husband because he is a good person I thought I could live with, but doubts are haunting me.

It just doesn’t feel right and I don’t think we are actually compatible, even though, as I said, he is a really good guy.

What can I do?

Being in the wrong relationship can be a very lonely place and it can be confusing when, on paper, there’s no reason to feel that way.

But, here’s the thing, he can be the best guy in the world, but if the chemistry isn’t there and you’re not in love with him, then you owe it to yourself and to him to admit that and move on.

On the other hand, if you think the reason you’re not happy could be because something is lacking that you can work on, then talk to him and consider relationship therapy before you throw in the towel.

Whichever it is, you need to talk to him about it and explain how you feel, and not just walk out one day. Sometimes when we feel under pressure, we make rash decisions, so take a bit of time to think things over.
