CCTV leads to three arrests over site raid

GARDAI nabbed a suspected burglary gang in an early morning raid when a CCTV operator spotted a break-in.

A three-man team were spotted by a security officer who was monitoring a camera feed from a control room at 3am yesterday.

As they entered the site in Glanmire, Co Cork, gardai were called and made three arrests.

The men, all in their 30s, are being questioned at two Garda stations in Cork city.

Crime Prevention Officer Sgt Tony Davis advised bosses at construction sites to set up CCTV systems.
