QASHING IN

-

Nissan has introduced a new version of its popular and huge-selling Qashqai called the N-motion. This limited edition features a panoramic glass roof, silver bumper plates, roof rails and mirror caps, plus unique 19in wheels. Inside you get redesigned front seats that feature burnt orange inserts on the bolsters with matching stitching. Available to order and all engine options are available but you can only have them in two-wheel drive.

Morgan is arguably the only wholly British car company left if you ignore the much smaller Ariel. Caterham, Aston Martin and Mclaren are all now owned by foreign investors.

Good news then that profits at Morgan were up 95% last year. This year, the Malvern-based firm will launch a totally new car with a new chassis and powertrain.

Morgan has a bright future as it’s a company which makes products that have charm and emotion not present in most modern cars, yet they incorporate modern systems – particularly as regards safety – and offer a reliability that you don’t get in classic cars.
