Kop spirit ‘on a high’

LIVERPOOL’S fighting spirit has been epitomised by the return from long-term injuries of Alex Oxladechamberlain and Rhian Brewster, claims full-back Trent Alexander-arnold.

Oxlade-chamberlain is close to making his comeback after 10 months out with a serious knee injury.

Brewster, 18 – out even longer, since January 2018 – is close to returning from ankle and knee problems.

Alexander-arnold said: “The pair epitomise the spirit around the team and the club – it’s going to be very difficult to break that.

“It’s been a really long journey for both of them.”
