A BUSY mum said she signed up to First Dates Ireland because she doesn’t have time to meet a man.

Between running a business and taking care of her eight-year-old son Archie, 36-year-old Diane Everett has put her love life on the back burner.

However, hoping for someone to give her a push in the right direction, the beauty therapist and make-up artist is one of the singletons trying to find a partner on the hit RTE show tonight.

INTRIGUED

Diane, who is set up with sales rep Eoin, 36, told the Irish Mirror: “I was always really intrigued about how they pair people up.

“I’m horrendous at picking people so I thought maybe leave it in the hands of people that know better than me.

“I suppose when I had my son, because I reared him single-handedly, I put all of my time into him, and then I became self-employed and put all my time into the business.

“Then I wanted to buy a house so I put all my time into that, so I suppose I was so preoccupied with getting mine and Archie’s life to this standard.”

After years alone, Diane, from Co Waterford, said she was excited to return
