Boozy chocolate fondue

Make an easy, decadent dessert of chocolate fondue spiked with alcohol. Ideal for Valentine’s Day. Buy strawberri­es, marshmallo­ws and shortbread for dipping

75ml chocolate sauce (we used Monin)

40ml salted caramel splash of brandy (or Tia Maria, or Baileys) 1 cinnamon stick

For dipping: strawberri­es, marshmallo­ws, shortbread fingers

1Light a tealight under a chocolate fondue pot to warm it for a few minutes. When the pot is warm, pour in the chocolate sauce and the salted caramel. Add a splash of brandy (or whatever you’re using).

2Stir with the cinnamon stick until warm, then use skewers or fondue forks to dip in your choice of strawberri­es, or marshmallo­ws, or go straight in with the shortbread fingers.
