Cheeses hit by recall over TB & listeria

-

TWO firms are recalling dairy products due to the presence of TB and listeria.

Corleggy Cheese, based in Co Cavan, is recalling its Cavanbert and Drumlin raw cows’ milk cheeses.

Products with best before dates after 14/2/19 and 13/3/19 respectively are not affected by the warning after TB was found in cattle.

Co Cork-based Toons Bridge Dairy is recalling batches of its mozzarella, halloumi, ricotta and buratta soft cheeses due to the detection of listeria.

The FSAI put the expiry dates and pack sizes implicated in the recalls on its website www.fsai.ie.
