‘Talks needed over asylum hotel attacks’
A COUNCILLOR wants a joint meeting about an arson attack on a hotel which is earmarked for asylum seekers.
Joe Murphy has called on the Boyle and Carrickon-shannon municipal districts to address the escalating events at the former Shannon Key West Hotel in Roosky, Co Leitrim.
The Fianna Fail man said: “I will also be calling on an official from the Department of Justice to attend this joint meeting of the municipal districts.
“There has been very little information and no engagement with the county councillors and local community.”
