Bands top bill for women’s refuge show

A SENSATIONAL line-up of bands is coming together for a show in aid of a women’s refuge.

The Homonics & Friends, Glor, Ledwidge, Emer Carroll and the Comhaltas Ceoltoiri Group have been booked for the Pop-up Gig at Boyne Rugby Club in Drogheda, Co Louth.

The Tom Maguire Band will also feature at the event on March 2. The bands will be followed by a DJ, raffle and spot prizes.

Proceeds will go to the Drogheda Women and Children’s Refuge, with donations also welcome.

Doors open at 8pm, show starts at 9pm.
