Woman hopes to follow pal’s Winning ways
Winning Streak A LUCKY hopeful will appear on Winning Streak tonight just a week after seeing an old friend bag a major cash prize.
Rita Ronan is hoping for her own windfall after pal Anne Murphy won €20,000.
The women were former colleagues at Acton’s Hotel in Kinsale, Co Cork.
Before the show, she bought a scratch card to mark Anne’s appearence.
It revealed three stars and after Rita, who lives in Foxrock, South Dublin, sent it away, she couldn’t believe her eyes when she was selected for tonight’s show.
Her daughter Sarah Jane has flown back from London to cheer her mum while her other daughter will be watching online in Australia.
