IN WITH THE NEW, IN WITH THE OLD

-

ROY HODGSON hopes a new-look strike-force will help him celebrate becoming the Premier League’s oldest manager.

The Palace boss will play Michy Batshuayi (left) alongside Christian Benteke in the fifth-round tie at Doncaster tomorrow.

“This tie is a good moment to give players a chance to win a regular place,” said Hodgson, who will overtake the late Sir Bobby Robson as the oldest serving manager when he reaches 71 years and six months next week. “I enjoy it as much as I’ve ever done,” he said.
