Percy on route for Bobbyjo

PRESENTING PERCY is a surprise absentee from the Red Mills Chase at Gowran Park today — but “all is good” with the Cheltenham Gold Cup favourite.

Pat Kelly will give the eight-year-old an entry in the Bobbyjo Chase at Fairyhouse next Saturday, said: “All is good with Percy — he schooled this morning and there are no problems.

“Pat is just happy with where he is and didn’t feel we needed to run him this weekend.

“Pat is in no rush with him and if we decide to go straight to Cheltenham, then so be it.”
