SINN Fein’s deputy leader told supporters it is time to make partition history.

Michelle O’neill was speaking at a commemoration event for former party councillor John Davey in Lavey, Co Derry.

He was shot dead by loyalist terrorists in 1989.

Ms O’neill said: “We want an Assembly which operates differently from what has gone before, to usher in a new kind of politics, which is progressive, respectful, with integrity.

“We will not be part of an unjust government. There will be no return to the status quo.

“And it is time to render the British border in Ireland permanently invisible and to make the partition of this country history.” IRISH model Tiffany Stanley has confessed she had to hire a dialect coach to help her speak in an American accent for TV roles.

The Kildare woman, who was one of Ireland’s top photocall models during the Celtic Tiger years, moved to Los Angeles six years ago.

The 31-year-old said: “When I go home I revert back to the Irish accent.

“When you’re living out here [and] you hear the American accent all day, you just pick it up.

“But I also had to learn it – I had to get a dialect coach to help me to do an American accent so that was a real challenge for me.”

Speaking in the Sunday World Magazine, Tiffany said she’s landed her biggest TV gig to date with a judging role on hit series The Look All Stars.

The model-turned-tv presenter will join Beverly Hills 90210 actress Tori Spelling on the series. Tiffany said: “I’m really excited about it.

“It’s very difficult to get a break over here, mainly because it’s very saturated. There’s so much talent here and the talent exceeds the amount of work.

SPEAKING IN SUNDAY WORLD MAGAZINE DETERMINED

“Even though there are lots of opportunities, you have to be very determined and get used to rejection. You have to develop a very tough skin.

“This is my first big break because the CW network is huge. It would be kind of like RTE or Virgin Media at home but obviously bigger because of the scale.

“It’s kind of like an X Factor-style show but for beauty professionals. I’m one of the judges in the social corner.”

In 2015, Tiffany admitted having fillers in her chin in a social media post.

The model has now also confessed plumping her pout with lip fillers but said she’s now opting for a more natural look.

She said: “I had it all taken out and they actually look better.

“I didn’t really need it, but, you know, at the time this is going back a couple of years – everyone was getting it done. It was the trend. Now I’m actually glad it’s gone because it looks better. I think my lips were kind of too big at one point.”
