Funeral to be held for GAA legend John
GAA star John Harrington will be laid to rest tomorrow after his sudden death at the age of 51.
The dad of two who played midfield for Wexford, passed away after suffering a heart attack on Saturday.
He lost his wife 10 years ago and is survived by his partner, his teenage daughters and his parents.
A funeral notice on RIP. ie reads: “Beloved husband of late Tina and partner of Sandra and father of Emma and Ciara and son of Dan and Patricia.
“A wake for John will be held at Kearney’s Funeral Home on Selskar Street in Wexford today from 2pm until 6pm followed by removal to the Church of The Assumption on Bride Street.”
