Two men held for attempted murder after horrific attack

Two men, aged
23 and 24, were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and were in custody at Central London police stations yesterday.
Police and ambulance crews were called to the club near Oxford Street at 3.40am yesterday.
Matthew Morrison, 40, and Oti Mabuse, 28, coaches on The Greatest Dancer, had been at Tape earlier with Strictly dancers Katya Jones, 29, and her husband Revellers at the scene of the attack outside Tape nightclub Neil, 36. Oti, Katya and Neil had performed on the BBC show on Saturday. They left the club around 2am, before the attack. Love Island stars, including Ellie Brown, Megan Bartonhanson, Laura Anderson and Zara Mcdermott, were also pictured arriving at the nightspot. They were there for Ellie’s 21st birthday and also left before the fight broke out. A spokeswoman for Laura said she and the rest of the cast were “fine”.
Photos from the scene yesterday showed pools of blood on the pavement and blood smeared on windows.
