ESB in bid to recruit 70 apprentices
Richard Bruton APPLICATIONS for the ESB apprenticeship programme open today.
The State-owned electricity company hopes to recruit up to 70 apprentices.
This is part of the ESB campaign to enlist 380 apprentices between 2015 and 2020.
Successful applicants will obtain QQI Advanced Level 6 Electrical Trade Certificate over four years.
Communications Minister Richard Bruton said: “Apprenticeships offer embedded learning and are an important path to innovation which have been undervalued in Ireland by enterprise and by the community.
“The ESB has steadfastly recognised the importance of apprenticeships.”
