We Aar on right track

- BY JOHN FALLON

AARON GREENE hopes to build momentum at Shamrock Rovers after finally breaking his scoring duck.

Greene’s first goal since re-joining Rovers last July brought them level at a packed RSC before Ethan Boyle clinched a 2-1 victory in stoppage-time.

The 29-year-old said: “This is my second coming.

“I was signed to score goals and I’m glad to get off the mark.

“Last season wasn’t helped by an injury I was carrying but I feel fit and fresh after an excellent pre-season.”

He added: “We can’t get carried away with these three points.

“The main thing for us is taking the momentum into this Friday’s game against Derry City at Tallaght.”
