Family’s final goodbye to tragic Conor

A TRAGIC young man reported missing last week will be laid to rest today after his body was discovered on Saturday.

Conor Burke, 24, was last seen in the early hours of Valentine’s Day at Abbeygate Street in Galway city centre.

His body was taken from the water near NUI Galway by gardai with the help of the Coast Guard.

Oranmore Maree Coastal Search Unit extended their condolences to the family of Conor, from Ballinfoyle in Galway city, following the sad news.

A Facebook post read: “We would like to extend our deepest sympathies. May he rest in peace.”
