Stick for Madonna ...& Rocco might get some for that outfit!
Female stars hit out at Awards nominations snub for women Women are not the warm-up act, we’re the main event
LOOKS like Madonna is the support act as she leaves a gig using a cane – while son Rocco takes centre stage in a garish retro suit no one can miss… Madge, 61, needed help to get to her car moments after the curtain dropped on Wednesday night’s show at the London Palladium.
The Madame X singer had to cancel shows last month because of her leg injury.
Rocco, 19, Madonna’s son with ex-husband Guy Ritchie, was spotted in the two-piece suit and mustard jumper while on a stroll in Central London.

THE Brit Awards have been plunged into a sexism row after female singers condemned the lack of women being nominated.
The shortlist for two of the unisex categories – the Mastercard Album of the Year and Best Group – are entirely male-dominated.
Charli XCX, 27, who is up for the Best Female Solo Artist award at next week’s ceremony, said: “What the f*** is that about?”
Speaking at Wednesday’s NME Awards, she added: “It’s what everyone has been saying. Women don’t just deserve to be in the female categories, we’re not the subplot, the warm-up act, we’re the main event.”
Ella Eyre, 25, who alongside Rudimental won British Single of the Year at the Brits in 2014 for their Waiting All Night collaboration, said: “It’s sad that I’m not even shocked.
“I don’t even know what can be said now to change it.
“It’s time for these organisations to recognise there are some really talented women out there who deserve to be at least considered.” Acclaimed albums by Charli and FKA Twigs are among those that failed to make the shortlist. The nominations process begins with the Official Charts Company which compiles a huge list of artists, albums and songs.
They are whittled down to the nominees by votes cast by the Brits academy – made up of over 1,000 experts including some previous winners. Pop stars are also lobbying to make music festival line-ups less male dominated. This year’s Oscars faced a backlash because no women were nominated for Best Director. ■ The Brits, Tuesday on ITV at 8pm.
