‘I put myself through week of Hell to be a better dad’
Ana spoke to Porter, below, about role in new Bond film
CUBAN Bond girl Ana de Armas was not impressed with the 007 producers’ version of Havana.
The No Time To Die scenes set in the country’s capital were filmed at Pinewood Studios just to the west of London. “It was completely freezing, so it did not feel like home,” De Armas told Porter.
The actress, who plays Daniel Craig’s sidekick Paloma in the
De Armas with Bond co-star Craig upcoming 25th 007 movie, left her home country as a teen to pursue her dream of becoming an actress.
Ana, 31, is also playing Marilyn Monroe for Netflix biopic, Blonde.
She said: “It wasn’t just about transforming physically to look the part, it was about understanding how intelligent she was.”

He revealed: “My father died when I was young, he was murdered when I was seven.

“So it was hard and I know if my dad was alive I wouldn’t have been doing any of the mad s**t I was doing.
“I would have been on track.”
Explaining his decision to go on the show, the new dad to three-month-old Kingston told the Irish Mirror: “I was already turning my life around, trying to get on to the right track.
“Then when I found out I was having a kid I just really knew I had to grow up like.
“Like our generation we don’t start to become adults until 23/24 so I was starting to grow into a man and I really felt like the competition would help me in the process of becoming a better man.”
