A FORMER royal protection officer has questioned Prince Andrew’s alibi for the night he allegedly had sex with a teenager.

The “highly respected” officer believes that, rather than staying at home as he claims, the Prince may have been out and arrived back at Buckingham Palace in the early hours.

Virginia Giuffre, 36, has alleged that on March 11, 2001, she was coerced into having sex with the Duke after dancing with him at Tramp nightclub in London.

Giuffre – who says she was trafficked aged 17 by Andrew’s ex-pal, paedophile Jeffrey Epstein – claims that she and the Prince had gone back to the nearby home of Epstein’s alleged fixer Ghislaine Maxwell.

But Andrew says he was “at home” all evening after taking his daughter

Beatrice to Pizza Express in Woking, Surrey. It had been thought Andrew’s insistence he was at home meant his Royal Lodge home in Windsor but he also has an apartment at the Palace.

The ex-royal protection officer claims that “rude” Andrew arrived by car and hurled abuse at guards when they did not open the Palace gates quickly enough. He said: “It dawned on me that the abusive incident I experienced could cast doubt on Prince Andrew’s alibi.”

Meanwhile, an internet specialist who worked for Epstein has claimed he saw

Andrew with a young blonde by a pool on the island of Little St James, where sex crimes were allegedly committed.

Steve Sculley yesterday claimed the couple’s meeting took place between 2001 and 2004, and he now believes the person to be Virginia Giuffre. She says she was forced to take part in an orgy with the royal on the US Virgin Island – after having sex with Andrew in London and New York in 2001.

Mr Sculley claimed: “Virginia was with Prince Andrew. He was grabbing her ass. They were kissing. He was grinding against her and groping her.”

In 2008, Epstein was jailed for procuring a child for prostitution, and served 13 months in jail.
